First post of the New Deer Season

Well I finally am doing a new post. Hopefully I will be doing more. I have three cameras out now. One where there is 2 mineral licks, one at the south pond and one about 1' off the ground under a bunch of oak trees above the south pond. We will see what we get. This post is to show the bucks that have shown up on the one camera by the mineral licks. As you will see some of the pictures are from one spot and then we moved it as we weren't seeing much in the first spot. So enjoy.

This one buck is probably the best one on camera so far, as you can see from the date this was in July.

This may be the same buck from above, I don't know have compared them.

You can barely see this one, the batteries were going down so I changed the batteries so the night pictures should be better.

June 16th

Here are some new pictures from the farm, the ones from the south pond weren't as good as the one from the first time. I am going to have to do some work on the camera as it is not staying in the direction I want and I would like to mount it a little lower.

April 14, 2009

Here are some pictures from the game camera from March 10th thru April 14th. There are a lot of deer pictures, 2 pictures of a crow, 1 of 2 raccoons and 1 picture of the backend of a bobcat.

Here's the one of the bobcat, he is on the right edge, just a little above center.







Here is are two pictures of a buck, his antlers are in poor shape, he has probably lost these by now.

Feb - March 2009 Pics

Pictures from our March 10 visit to the farm, I only have the one camera setup right now, I need to get the other one worked on hope to have it done soon. Here are the pictures

I want to set up a camera down by the south pond, close to the water. It should get some great pictures of animals visiting for drinks. I also need to get the deer feeder filled up. As I said in the other blog, work, work and more work.

Feb 2009 game pictures

Here are the pictures from Jan 1 thru Feb 17. There weren't any big bucks, but after looking at the pictures from late Dec to Jan 1 I was just happy to see what deer I that were there. There were several small bucks and up to seven does in one group. Last months pictures had a total of three deer from two cameras which wasn't to encouraging. Anyway here are some pictures.
